~~My partners~~ Literally just mango. I'll spike that shit on a fork and eat it with the skin on if I have to, but nicely sliced mango is just to die for. If I'm "Apotheotic wants a little snacky" hungry and not "Eat a horse" hungry, mango is the way to (man)go.

Oooof, a good mango can be mind-blowing. They're amazing dried as well!

Did you know that there's an ancient mango tree in India that has all the varieties in it? It's protected by an old man.

That's supremely cool

For a crunchy snack: Trader Joe's Crunchy Curls

For a more filling snack: Trader Joe's super bread, toasted, with a smear of pesto and a lightly scrambled egg on top

I'll have to try those curls if I can score some in my country.

What makes the bread so super? Interesting idea to combine pesto with eggs.

I just saw pumpkin seeds outside the loaf and snagged it. But I googled it and found these:

The curls are potato and lentil and I could eat a whole bag in one sitting. I don't, but I could.

Eggs! I'm a real egghead ๐Ÿฅš

[โ€“] xilliah@beehaw.org 2 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Omg I just love eating a semi soft cooked egg as snack

[โ€“] Corno@lemm.ee 2 points 8 months ago

Me too! I love buying the free range extra large variety and boiling them for around 4 minutes 30 seconds. The yolk is my fave part!

Peaches and Cream

(Great song, but it's genuinely one of my favorite snacks, as well.)

I've lately gotten into prunes. didn't like them as a kid, but they're fucking delicious and do wonderful things for my bowels

OK since there's so much engagement I'll grace you with a nice snack I love:

Peeled semi soft boiled egg Slice of toasted dark bread, oven for a few minutes is fine Prepare bunch of mayo with curry, cayun, sweet paprika powder, like say 2 spoons Slice half an avocado up

Bread Sauce Avocado Slice egg into halves Chilli and salt

Tip: Place the avocado slices in such a way that it holds the egg halves snuggly. Put the egg in the center and cut it and the two halves will fall to either side.
