Nobody reads this far down right? I'll just shill for J-Novel Club a bit because I love that they sell DRM free Ebooks. Go buy the series from their website.

I tried chatting on some of the recommended apps on Reddit and I can confirm that none of them work.

Which bring me to the following question: How do you find people who are interested in long-term relationships online?

Note: Please don't suggest looking in the real life.

I want code to right click context menu on a file and if it is a .mp4, then convert that to a .mp3 of the same name

also include an option to play faster by +25 +33 +50 or slower by -25 -33 -50 (in a sub menu)

I understand this is different depending on your system, so answer how to do it for the people who use the same system as you

EU regulation has led to Apple being forced to open up iOS in ways that many never expected, but it’s not done just yet. In an effort to ensure “effective interoperability” with other platforms, the EU wants Apple to make native features of iOS being compatible with Android, including the likes of AirDrop and more.

Twin sisters set to attend University of Waterloo to complete their PhDs have died in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza.

Dalia Ghazi Ibaid and Sally Ghazi Ibaid were planning to come to Waterloo to do their PhDs in System Design Engineering. They were both recipients of UWaterloo’s Student Relief Fellowship.

“Dalia and Sally were selected based on their outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated research potential,” read UWaterloo’s statement.

They were both killed in an airstrike on Dec. 5.

If the court ended up forcing Google to sell Android, shouldn't we worry that its license as an open source project could be removed and then it become proprietary?

I created a solution...with a pi 4 but it just doesn't seem to work very well. OCR is very finicky and while I was able to get pytesseract to pull the images off of a webcam, the numbers that get returned are very wrong. It looks like they only allow businesses to pull the powermeter data if I am reading this right: https://www.pge.com/en/save-energy-and-money/energy-saving-programs/smartmeter.html

My rate has increased 6 times this year, so power is very expensive here: 50c per KWH...on the lowest consumption rate. I need to figure out how to cut back or get solar panels. But I want to see in near real time how much energy we are using.

Summary

The FDA has approved Eli Lilly’s obesity drug Zepbound to treat moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in people with obesity, marking the first medication for this condition.

Clinical trials showed Zepbound users had 25 fewer breathing interruptions per hour, lost 20% of their body weight, and up to half no longer had OSA symptoms after a year.

This approval is expected to expand insurance coverage, including Medicare, for patients with both obesity and OSA.

It offers an alternative to CPAP devices, the current standard treatment.
