I only recently started playing again specifically because I found out that all the missions in online mode that required you to be in a public lobby are now able to be ran in a private lobby. Playing in a solo lobby is basically like getting more SP story (there are story missions in GTAO; it's not all races and DM). Don't have to deal with cheaters or asshats.

US. Fluent in English but I can speak enough spanish to do most everyday things. I am learning Japanese, and while I can read and understand about half of it, I can't pronounce shit and haven't bothered practicing since I just want to read it.

IIRC, they originally made Fallout because they couldn't use the Wasteland IP. Which is hilarious.

Not necessarily. What if you're really good at Photoshop?

Do you think traffic speeds aren't enforced? Just because they can't do it effectively because they don't have the resources or man power doesn't mean they don't try.

I want this cross over to exist. 😬

That wasn't Michele in The Avengers? I had to look up Tessa just to compare and yeah; they look almost identical.

Similarly, when Zombieland first came out, I thought Jessie was Micheal Cera. They look similar enough and basically are both cast as the shy, nerdy kid.

Easy solution: Make NV2, but call it something else. Like "Wasteland: Viva Las Vegas 3D."

I'd probably like it. Those wafers are fun. Tasteless, but the texture is the same as those vanilla wafer cookies. With marshmallow fluff, it would actually taste good, too.

When I was in elementary or junior high, we were asked to write an essay on what we thought the world would be like in 2025.

Not one single person thought the Nazis would return, let alone be Americans.

It's always been useful in figuring out if you need to lead or trail a target more in a shooter, but all these modern shooters have taken that bit out of the scoreboard.

Checking out The Finals and for the first few games, I thought it used projectiles for the guns because I hit more often shooting ahead of moving targets, only to find they are indeed hitscan and hit better when actually looking directly at the dude when nobody is lagging.

By that I mean literally sucking up stuff. The vent fan above my stove only seems to actually pull anything in while it's on low; setting it to high makes it louder but stops pulling any smoke or steam up through the hood. I'm just curious how the hell that works; shouldn't a faster spinning fan suck MORE? Is there some property of aerodynamics that was forgotten when they installed this shit?

I promise to study! Just stop... Advertising to me! 😱

I meticulously make roads and keep bed rooms nearby to the work the colonist is supposed to be doing, but I am still noticing that, without extra Common Sense, PUAH or Haul+ tasks being appended to their current action, they tend to take the longest possible route to reach their destinations. Like, I have a kitchen right in the center of my entire compound, with shelves and fridges to store the food in everyone's bedroom. He finished making a meal and was taking it to a building like 16 tiles away to the left. Instead of just going directly there, the dumbass goes right, out the walls (despite being assigned to a zone that doesn't allow them to leave the safety of said walls), around the entire perimeter of the compound, enters back in from the south and then proceeds up the 400 tiles or so back to the room that was super close to where he started. 😬

Is there, like, a mod that allows me to set pathing priorities like you can in Dwarf Fortress, or do I just need to give them brain implants that make them not so stupid?

We kinda know what happens if you get sucked into a black hole because of math (spaghettification, what outside observers would see, etc); can the same be said about worm holes? Would you even notice if you passed through one? What would they look like? What would someone watching someone else go through a wormhole look like?

These guys are new to me since the last time I played, so IDK what's up. I have a dead one just chilling in my freezer and nobody will do anything with it. It's not counting as a corpse? When trying to force it at the butcher or creamtorium, it says no corpse available; but they did stick him in the corpse pile.

I am using the Alien Races and Anthro Race mods, which might be fucking things up, but this is a default race, and even with the xeno ideology additions, my colony is set to not GAF about eating people (human or alien); not to mention they'd burn or bury it anyway, just because it's a corpse that isn't one of us. Not sure how to dispose of this fuzzbutt and stop the negative thoughts upon seeing him while grabbing some chow.

Edit: He weighs too much! IDK how the hell they carried him to the freezer in the first place though... He weighs 60kg, and the maximum anyone can carry is 34kg. :/

Edit 2: Even though I had already tried this, setting my crematorium to allow everything then forcing them to cremate bodies worked just now. Doing the same thing with the butcher table didn't, and I had already tried this last night with both before I made the post and it wasn't working... Ugh... 😮‍💨

Personally, I don't* but I was curious what others think.

^*^some sandwiches excluded like a Cubano or chicken parm; those do require cooking.

I have 1 last achievement to get and it didn't seem like it would be that hard since I already got S rank without even trying on all the high payout missions when I was grinding cash for all the parts.

However, a few seem to be completely arbitrary and not simply about speed and efficiency. Or maybe I am just not fast enough? I have to actually use a stop watch because the game doesn't actually tell you the mission time...

Anyway I have literally 2 left that I can't get above A rank on and I don't know why.

First is Stop The Data Breach. I zip through the level as fast as I can destroying the hacking nodes, and even take out the tetrapod in the hallway while waiting for the dialogue to continue and give me access to the last door leading to Iguazu. I know from watching a video of someone getting S rank that the damage and ammo costs I end up with are good (even lower) so it's gotta be the time it takes to do the final fight. But that dumbass Iguazu heals like 4 times every time he's down to nothing which makes it take way longer than it should. I can kill him faster but that would cost more in the ammo cost, assuming it even hits because the weapons that would allow near instant death are also super slow and he constantly dodged all over the place.

The other is Destroy the Refuelling base. I've zipped straight to the main objective and killed the ACs at the end in under 2 minutes and got A rank. I've gone and blown up all the fuel dumps then the main objective and killed the ACs in just a few seconds more; still A. The fuck does it expect me to do? Finish in 30 seconds? I can use the fastest possible mech build and it still takes like a minute just to reach the objective going in as straight a line to it as you can.

The lack of clear objectives listed for these arbitrary requirements is driving me crazy. I've looked for answers online, of course, but every answer is different. Some people got S rank doing this, others got it doing something else. Neither method worked for me, so it just feels like random.

Playing Ghost of Tsushima and just trying to get the best settings for my machine and was suggested to use high preset with resolution scaling off and frame Gen on.

It certainly makes the FPS counter say it's 60fps now when it would constantly dip to 40, but it doesn't feel or look smooth at all. I can get 60fps without frame Gen in much of the game, and turning it off in those areas looks smoother and feels nicer.

I've never used frame generation in anything else before so I don't know if this is normal or what's going on. Would it feel better if I uncapped the frame rate and turned off vsync?

Just thinking about how I've read that humans are the only animals on the planet that can throw objects with a degree of accuracy. But could a dog or other animal be taught, and trained to throw things to hit a target? I mean, it's not like a human can throw well without guidance and practice, either.

Like "radio" or "fantasy" or "game..." They're basically the same in Japanese (radjio, fantaji, gaamu) so if I just said them in English pronunciation, would someone with no experience in English still be able to tell what I'm saying?
