Recently, there has been a rash of reports that are clearly inapplicable to the content being reported. For example, a subjectively funny blog screenshot being labeled “spam or abuse.”

From now on, this will result in the reporter being temporarily or permanently banned from the community.

The report button is NOT for posts or comments you personally do not like. Do not use the report button unless the post or comment is clearly violating a rule or there is an obvious problem with it. When you report something, we prefer that you select Other and describe what the problem is.

Thank you for your cooperation, carry on.

If this isn't the most dystopian thing you've read today I don't know what is.

Artificial Refugia (such as bat boxes) can be used to somewhat offset lost habitat, but it's like replacing a rainforest with a plastic plant and calling it conservation. Further, unless they are meticulously designed, they can act as traps (trap animals inside), snack plates for predators, or even 'cook' the animals inside them.

Alligator lives matter.

The good news is, alligators are guaranteed at least 65 million meals if we gt started now.

Yesterday I heard a kid use "trending" to mean popular. This was at a carnival, referring to a ride "trending" in the sense of having a long line. Feel like this is the modern version of LOL and OMG escaping into conversation.
