It's also not a closed, finite system because it relies on the extraction of resources and labor from outside of the imperial core.

Because the Anglosphere was so xenophobic that even the Irish and Italians were too culturally exotic to them and thus demonized their entire belief system.

What's funny is that ferrets have been domesticated for thousands of years for a similar purpose as cats but they're still viewed as wild or exotic by many. California and Hawaii still prohibit ownership of ferrets out of fear that they will harm native wildlife populations. Yet cats are completely legal and are much more capable hunters in every situation other than underground burrows. And anyone who has owned or interacted with a pet ferret knows how completely useless they would be surviving in the wild on their own. They have zero self preservation instinct.

The lib compulsion to deny the power of protest while championing the vote as the only appropriate instrument for change...

The SUVs in Europe are also smaller on average than the behemoths on American roads. The largest ones you will come across in France will be BMW X5 sized. And while they are large, they are utterly dwarfed by SUVs like the Suburban, Sequoia and Escalade. An Escalade vs X5 comparison here.

Keep "Voting Blue No Matter Who" and watch as every promise they ran on vanish without a fight because YOU have taken away any incentive to.

Cats reduce pollutants that contribute to smog that directly harm human health. But they do nothing to reduce the net carbon released into the atmosphere. In fact, by converting carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide they are hastening climate change (CO2 is a more potent greenhouse gas than CO).

Hold onto it long enough and it will be eventually. Home ownership is the only real cheat code we have against inflation.

Can't expect to mimic the curbside aesthetics of the model walkable-city when you're dealing with 100+ degree heat for a third of the year.

UAW factories don't make affordable economy cars anyway. In fact, the Big 3 abandoned that segment altogether in favor of higher margin trucks and SUVs. They didn't choose to strike at the plants that build the Wrangler and Bronco randomly. Chinese EVs are slowly taking over Europe because they offer more car for less money. Our steep tariffs are the only thing preventing a Chinese takeover of the US market that would dwarf the Japanese invasion of the 80s.

sadness My dumb ass assuming India's culture of reverence for cows would lead to slightly better treatment for them but forgetting that capitalism will always demand the most profitable option.
