Let’s hope Trump doesn’t get wind of this. He’ll actually jump to save a fellow wealthy pedo

When's his third trial? When you're rich, you can always buy another.

"Sex pest," to me, is some creep that sends women unsolicited dick pics... This man is a serial rapist who systematically used his position of power to take advantage of countless women.

I think he goes beyond "sex pest"

If he sucks enough Trump dick he'll be right out

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 36 points 1 day ago (2 children)

These were state charges, so Trump can't pardon him.

There have been a lot of "Trump can'ts" during his terms

For example, an insurrectionist can't run for office

[–] crusa187@lemmy.ml 18 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It was incumbent on Dems to charge and convict him. Biden’s AG Merrick Garland couldn’t be assed to begin the process until over 2 years into his administration, conveniently late enough to ensure Trump could delay any potential conviction until after the next election.

This is a “Trump shouldn’t have”, but Dems decided to let him do it anyway. And wouldn’t you know it, all those millionaires in Congress are about to get $3T worth of tax breaks thanks to Trump, and it’s coming out of our livelihoods as working class citizens.

Our government has betrayed us entirely to the rich and corporations.

garland was already comprimised, being one of the contributors to HF.

Who’s gonna stop him? And I do mean that as a serious question.

[–] 100_kg_90_de_belin@feddit.it 1 points 1 day ago

No, but Trump can use his cult to put pressure on the judge and the jury.

Good, well done, but they used him as an scapegoat for all the others in that industry. Now its back to predatory practices as usual in Hollywood.

scapegoat

[–] orclev@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Fun fact, this kind of mistake is known as an eggcorn.

[–] entwine413@lemm.ee 6 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

It took me a second to figure out that was a mistake for acorn.

Too bad intensive purposes is longer.

[–] rodneyck@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 day ago

oops, thanks.

[–] Zugyuk@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

WTF, did they think he was a bottom? That makes assault really difficult

[–] thefartographer@lemm.ee 17 points 1 day ago

Third time's the charm? Maybe that's when he'll have a stroke mid-trial and become locked in his own body?

[–] Opinionhaver@feddit.uk 11 points 1 day ago

Kind of a strange title, considering most of the article actually talks about some of the jurors being bullies - threatening others with violence - and others not wanting to work with them because of it.

[–] MyOpinion@lemmy.today 13 points 1 day ago (1 children)

He needs to die in prison.

[–] TommySoda@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I thought he was already dead, to be honest.

[–] aeternum@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 1 day ago

he may not be dead, but his crotch sure is.
