"All of this is politics! You know, the thing that ruined America! But we're making America great again, by removing politics altogether and just staying in power forever! Hail ~~Hitler~~ Trump!"

Yeah, it's just Felon telling his puppets that those opposing him are puppets and thus stupid, unlike his who are big, strong and beautiful people and who will definately not lose all their money because of his economics, which is a different thing to politics because capitalism is the only one that just works, and no you shouldn't think about that too hard.

[–] Bakkoda@sh.itjust.works 8 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Lol because he's been silent this whole time.

Fuckin journalism is like madlibs nowadays. Just making shit up.

[–] I_Has_A_Hat@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago

You don't think they really SLAMMED him? He must be MELTING DOWN and feeling CORNERED over PROTESTGATE.

[–] Rooty@lemmy.world 19 points 11 hours ago* (last edited 11 hours ago)

The richest man in the world is bitching about "unseen elites". Is he imagining himself to be the man of the people now?

[–] finitebanjo@lemmy.world 15 points 11 hours ago

A "puppet master" organizing millions of people across an entire nation...

Kind of sounds like a real politician unlike his unelected ass.

[–] lka1988@sh.itjust.works 26 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

"Am I out of touch?

No, it's the ~~children~~ protesters who are wrong"

[–] Litebit@lemmy.world 22 points 13 hours ago* (last edited 13 hours ago) (1 children)

Isn't Felon Musk bribing and buying elections.

[–] ThomasCrappersGhost@feddit.uk 1 points 3 hours ago

Really want to know who these “unseen elites” are.

[–] Thrashy@lemmy.world 83 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Says the 'man' who just tried to buy an election in Wisconsin.

Dude bought himself the presidency of a country he isn’t allowed to be president of

[–] match@pawb.social 10 points 13 hours ago

tens of thousands of puppet masters, all working together to overthrow the noble and righteous Money King!

[–] barneypiccolo@lemm.ee 43 points 17 hours ago

He's just salty because he knows that every single person in that massive crowd would cheer as the blade came down on his neck. In fact, they'd cheer louder for him, than almost any other person...except for one.

Musk breaks silence

WHAT silence? That asshole has been the source of a rising crescendo of bullshit covering an increasingly broad range of topics on which he is absolutely unqualified to comment for years. The miracle would be if he managed to shut the fuck up for several consecutive moments.

[–] Bonus@lemm.ee 53 points 22 hours ago

It's literally the morning he would have the first opportunity to say something. So, zero silence. The source ain't great. Sensationalistic, etc.

I like how fragile he is, like when he was crying cause Tim Waltz was laughing at him

[–] TwinTitans@lemmy.world 18 points 22 hours ago

My thoughts exactly.

Man who was literally giving people $100 to repeat his political rhetoric earlier this week says people who disagree with him are puppets, very reasonable cool and not projection /s

[–] metaldream@sopuli.xyz 31 points 22 hours ago

Yep same old accusation in a mirror bullshit.

[–] SSNs4evr@leminal.space 17 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

I love how a billionaire "puppet master" can think so low of everyone, like nobody is intelligent to think for themselves, instead, relying on some unnamed "puppet master." Yet he cannot name any alleged puppet master leading the over 1000 protests. What a freaking Muppet. Sorry - I don't mean to insult the Muppets.

[–] Olhonestjim@lemmy.world 12 points 16 hours ago

To him we are all nothing more than NPCs.

[–] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 30 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

Breaks silence? I wish he'd shut up for a while

[–] Quadhammer@lemmy.world 4 points 13 hours ago

Silent for a whole 30 seconds wow what a hero

[–] werefreeatlast@lemmy.world 3 points 11 hours ago

Let them eat cake?

[–] DrFistington@lemmy.world 5 points 13 hours ago

Yeah, he's got all those tens of millions of other 'puppets' pulling his strings, yet simultaneously following his instructions. Meanwhile I can literally see Putin's hand up Musks ass when he's talking

[–] Monstrosity@lemm.ee 27 points 19 hours ago (1 children)
[–] suite403@lemmy.world 13 points 18 hours ago

He's been manipulating people for so long he can't imagine people doing anything without a puppeteer.

[–] Rolder@reddthat.com 51 points 21 hours ago

He’s just mad that protest organizers don’t have to bribe people with a potential million dollar check to come out

[–] mp3@lemmy.ca 56 points 22 hours ago* (last edited 22 hours ago) (6 children)

Who are the puppet masters, Elon? Some shadowy cabal of oligarchs with even more money than you? Are they in the room with us right now?

I'm sure they pay those protesters quite well 🙄

[–] CosmicTurtle0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

That's the thing I don't get from Fox News and other conservative outlets.

Who is paying these protestors? Why is this never a follow-up question? Why isn't anyone from Fox or any other "journalistic" org investigating this? Or at least pretending to?

Let's assume that these protestors are paid. The most conservative estimate of the number of protestors is 2 million. Let's halve that because, you know, conservatives want to downplay this whole thing.

Assuming everyone was there for no more than two hours, and assuming minimum wage, we're talking $7,250,000 for everyone. Let's assume half were paid and half "followed along".

$3,625,000 just for paying the protestors. Ignoring web site domains, salaries for organizers, etc.

Let's call it an even $3 mill.

Who the fuck is paying that?! This isn't chump change. This is "journalism 101 follow the money trail" kind of money.

I mean, I know, and you know, why they aren't investigating. They just need a boogyman.

But damn even the most cursory look at this excuse falls apart.

[–] nulluser@lemmy.world 9 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Because they know it's bullshit. It's not journalism. It's state media propaganda. It all makes more sense when you're not expecting them to be journalists, much less, investigative journalists.

“Paid protesters” — come on.

[–] DrFistington@lemmy.world 10 points 13 hours ago (2 children)

Lol, how is that even an insult from a guy who literally tried to bribe voters. Hell, id love to pay protestors. I have to work and raise kids, but I'll gladly pay to have people go to Washington to express my opinion on my behalf. Hell, I can donate other worthwhile tools that may help them with their protests

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemm.ee 4 points 13 hours ago

Projection. He has no empathy or imagination.

[–] lka1988@sh.itjust.works 3 points 13 hours ago

but I’ll gladly pay to have people go to Washington to express my opinion on my behalf.

Those are called "lobbyists"

I wish he was chased out of the U.S like that time Springfield chased out the monorail guy. Literally a lynch mob as he runs like a caricature.

Or maybe Trump, Vance and Musk running away like the end of a three stooges episode.

[–] Sir_Kevin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 34 points 21 hours ago

The concept that the people have free thought is beyond his comprehension.

He's the same kind of idiot looking for the mastermind behind anon.

EIon, every single one of these people independently hates you!

Tech billionaire Elon Musk dismissed the wave of “Hands Off!” protests held across the U.S. on Sunday, accusing demonstrators of being manipulated by unseen political operatives.

“The problem is the puppet masters, not the puppets, as the latter have no idea why they are even there,” Musk posted

Elon's projecting on more screens than a Marvel movie.

[–] smiletolerantly@awful.systems 23 points 22 hours ago

The title gave me a stroke

[–] MyOpinion@lemm.ee 18 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Elon I am going to look forward to you being run out of this country.
