Save your wallet and install Newpipe.

I've just started using newpipe and it's great. I download audiobooks easily for when I'm working overnights and a few rooms get no mobile data

I have smart downloads and pip window and redesigned desktop watch page without being in the US.

”Jump ahead” and ”conversational AI” for some reason are US only.

Thanks for the TLDR

Stupid shorts I've turned them off completely in reVanced

I wouldn't use those features even if they were available for everyone.

Why the hell do you need a pip window to watch a 30 seconds video while you do something else?

Why would you let the app automatically download garbage shorts that the algorithm decided that you are going to like

Would be nice if they would implement a sponsor block type feature, but I doubt we will ever see that happen.

Revanced has that, as well as a load of other features. Can be used without root access these days.

Unrelated, but I just found out there's a .youtube TLD. Not sure how to feel about this.

Some features of premium actually sound really interesting, but I find myself struggling to reconcile my interest in both those features and the general idea of an internet that isn't built upon ads with my strong dislike of Google and a sincere wish to give them as little money as possible.

I'll just use GrayJay, thanks.
