What's the difference between a chickpea and a garbanzo bean? I've never paid $300 to to have a garbanzo bean on me.

It'd be pretty difficult, any instances that start that shit would be defederated with a quickness, but I don't want to be too optimistic lol

I've actually been using the box my computer case came in for recycling for a little over a year now. It just works!

Alright, but what if my music is applicable to more than one community? Like, it's a punk album, so I'll probably post it on the music communities and the punk communities, as well as the aforementioned !imadethis@lemm.ee. Not trying to spam, but just typing "music" in the search bar brings up five communities where my content would be applicable. Good looking out though, that's why I asked!

No problem! It's worth noting that both of those non-FOSS plugins I mentioned are both free as in "free beer", so if you need a good auto tune and/or fancy chorus, check those out!

Thanks! You'd be the guy to know what communities go with which posts haha

Hello Lemmings! For the past year or so, I've been working on a solo project, and I'm kinda close to being finished with it! It's a punk rock album, made with mostly open-source tools (the only non-FOSS stuff is a couple of plugins that didn't have good open-source alternatives)!

I've seen other folks promote their games here, but so far I haven't seen any music done this way, and I was wondering if it's maybe not allowed? Some sort of Lemmy faux pas? If it is, indeed, allowed, then what communities would be amenable to maybe a twice weekly post? Should one make their own community for this purpose? What about a general purpose community for self-promotion, i.e. "imadethis" back on the old place? As you can see, much to consider. (I don't have anything out yet, so this post in itself is not self-promotion.)

What say ye, o wise Lemmings?

I'll give the whole story if anyone wants it

For backstory: My partner and I have been playing Super Mario Party so long that it's gotten boring. They asked me what I wanted for my birthday (which is coming up), and I thought something like that would be cool. If X-COM 2 had a local co-op on the Switch, I'd do that, but is there something similar?

I'm sure it's not the radiation...

I can see saved posts all day, but saved comments, well that's an issue. It was easy on the previous iteration, just wondering why I can't find it now.

On Boost for Reddit, this was the feature I liked the most. Is it just not implemented yet?

I was gonna shout out everyone in this community, but I figured out that you were all sus, so this is the meme.

This is my first time posting from Boost, let's see how it goes...

My current "default home" when you open the app or click the home button is set to "Subscribed Top Six Hour". I would like to change that to "All Top Six Hour", but I can't seem to find where to do this. Android app, btw.
