I don't think that's tinfoil hat at all. I mean it seems like a very logical explanation and the same thoughts I had when I was watching it happen.

I still remember when Hillary went to Obama before conceding and most were speculating it was going to be about a cabinet position and her running after Obama did.

I genuinely don't understand it, the game itself is gorgeous.

Excuse me, we had to go with the obvious choice that would win /s

I dunno, I follow some political, rap, and basketball YouTubers and they all use Twitter. I'd much rather them use Bluesky or Threads. I think Mastodon would probably be best but so far, anything's better than Twitter.

Think you may need to build it from cargo/rust

This is kinda funny because I've installed it on Mint and Pop OS and I completely forgot how.

I've had a friend tell me that her stream group (and her) or whatever was happy to see these woke games die. I'm only looking at this superficially but what about this game is woke? I just thought it was shit.

I worked for a major investment bank and one of their exotics trading teams was basically all add-ons and stuff built on top of Excel.

To be fair, the traders looked like Wizards using it, it was pretty neat.

I don't know if I'd trust any of the text around it until we see more ... the picture doesn't seem like it matches at all.

I mean, you can downvote me but the text seems utterly ridiculous. If it's real then you guys are right, but it certainly doesn't seem like a believable story.

Yes, that's exactly what happened. Except it didn't and science isn't based on your feelings on an unsubstantiated anecdote and even IF it were real, real scientists with real brains are gonna figure this out. Not you.

He sounded so pathetic trying to rebut with that.

I was gonna make a joke that it's also an idea that's on so many street corners and coffee cups. However after googling I found out that it's a siren on the Starbucks logo and not a mermaid. My joke fails on both humour and fact.

No lie, when I saw the ghosts in FF7: Remake or whatever ... I forced myself to finish the game and there's no way I'm likely to play any of the sequels.

Also, like, this is just me but I got into PlayStation games fairly late. I got a PS5 and I played God of War 4 and was gobsmacked about how good that game played and looked. When I played FF7: Remake, the game itself looked amazing and a younger me would have loved seeing those graphics. However, I felt the cinematics and storyline were SO lackluster. I think after seeing God of War 4 cinematics, the FF7: Remake ones felt so dated ...

Btw, I actually enjoyed FF15, I know it's like unfinished with drama and all that but I really did like playing that game.

It's a story from April, I tried seeing if it was posted before, however it's the story about how the advertising and finance team beat the search team into submission by ousting the core person protecting it to pursue "growth" and "revenue" at all costs.

Just popped up in my feed. I loved Starship Troopers as a kid, not knowing the satire underneath. Anyways, it's a nice interview.
