But what if the artist I choose to support turns out to be a creep later on? Do I keep the bought media or throw it out?

Take a page out of the EU handbook, fine him 5% of global Twitter revenue per infraction.

I agree. We should just shoot all fossil fuel company CEOs until they appoint one that agrees to stop polluting the earth so that polar bears have more space to live in 👍🏻

The exact amount of money I have in debts at the moment.

If I was 100% debt free I could work 3-4 days a week with the same amount of money left as with debts.

This would reduce stress and give me more time and energy to improve myself

Is using a 30 year old VGA monitor “green”?

[–] lepinkainen@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

Multiple people were really angry when VGA ports disappeared, the amount of shitty corporate projectors with only VGA connectors was staggering and we had to resort to using adapters (“dongles”) for a long time until all of them were replaced with HDMI capable ones

Removing things is also innovation

Or do you still miss the VGA connector? A floppy disk drive? DVD drive in a laptop?

Corp accounts, Docker Desktop isn’t free for non-personal use

I’ve been doing POSSE for a while now and it had helped me immensely by saving time and stress.

Basically every time I post something on a 3rd party site I store the content locally. Currently only in Obsidian and some locally cached videos and articles (TubeArchivist and Raindrop)

When I get dragged to the same argument or topic again, I can just grab my old comment, maybe edit/update it a bit and post it.

For some stuff I have longer blog posts I can link to, for some they are images and graphs.
