As tempting as that might be in the real world, in the financial world - this would be an expensive move, the most expensive short there is right now. Nearly all the available DJT stock was sold short but that has cost those people millions already.

Trump Media Is Now the Most Expensive US Stock to Bet Against. His theatrics are literally all that is driving the stock up because, on paper, it should be an obvious losing hand.

It is now also the most expensive stock to short.

Mars One https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars_One received over 200,000 applications for a one-way ticket to Mars & raised money way too easily, before going bankrupt.

Steps to creating your own "Bullish Burger" Stock Market

  1. Bulk order just before peak,
  2. Resell those orders as demand rises.
  3. Profit

He should have been stopped by the Meuller Report. So many things, like an insurrection for example, should have made him ineligible for office. It is getting harder to put this all on Trump - people are enabling this. That he still has supporters is beginning to say more about them than it does Trump - we already know who he is.

I doubt this is lost on Elon, as much of Africa was sold off to colonisers on treaties signed with an X.

This came about from the Netscape v MSFT browser wars; where MSFT tried to argue that because IE was bolted directly into the OS, it therefore had to come preinstalled without asking & could not be uninstalled. The court ordered them to unbolt it & bundle it as a separate install - just like other browsers.

Meanwhile, on a somewhat normal day in Belgorod, Russia; things got very tense for a woman who hung a blue blanket out to dry, on an orange balcony. The FSB had her take it down after enraged neighbours called in to complain.

Fair play to the dev. At least they are totally upfront so you know you can actually trust the work as being unbiased.

I didn't even add all the companies, running out of floor space lol. I only added those with multi-million euro fines. Many omitted for settling unspecified amounts.

I only just posted a meme about the EU flooring companies for going against their regulations. It was my first post too :)
I'd really like to add YouTube to it. Godspeed.

People might actually get some rest. The last few years have been hectic due to social media.
I see your point though. Like how people took to the streets to protest the change of coca cola in '85. One protester went as far as say:

“This makes me angry. I'm angry, and I'm mad. I feel injured. Betrayed. Like a sacred trust has been violated ... People are having anxiety headaches. They've been placed in a distressed state."

... because New Coke didn't taste the same - they had to go back to coke 'classic'. 🤷‍♂️

Who Got Next Flex? (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

I had to update the pic; forgot the biggest culprit -Microsoft. They got slapped with a fine of $731 million. I try not to think about this company at all but I had to fix it. The meme gods had to be appeased.
Also, I remember that Nextflix only bent the knee by agreeing to 30% of their content being local, but really tempted to add 'em.
Hopefully the Next Flex will be Netflix - for the meme-ability. Elon won't do it, he would have already done. He is just exercising free speech, nothing more. If he does get in the ring, then I'll join X 😬 & pay his subscription for a year. 👀
