I have 5 of the older generation google home speakers that i dont use because google assistant got dumber and dumber so that in the end it was just easier to get up and turn off the light instead of having google do it.

It seems like a waste though to throw them away. Could I re purpose them in any way?

Cleaning day is tough on them! She's almost 3 months old!

I have a few domains and some space available on a we server that I have had for ages but never really used. Its mainly meant for website hosting and it works pretty well for WordPress and similar services.

Could I host any self posted programs on such a server and what should I search for when researching options?

I can set up a database and upload files to the ftp server but i dont believe that i have a C panel or can run ssh.

I have created an USB key with Mint, but when I boot from it I get a few lines of errors

• Failed to open \EFI\BOOT\mmx64.efi - Not Found
• Failed to load image ??: Not Found
• Failed to start MokManager: Not Found
• Something has gone seriously wrong: import_mok_state () failed: Not Found

I have tried disabling safe boot, and fast boot. I have confirmed that my system has UEFI.

I am trying to help my friend with an issue he has with his PS5 slim.

He has lost the small feet that allows him to have the console horizontally.

I printed and sent him the feet for a regular PS5 that did not fit. Only after this did we realise that he has the slim version.

This comes with two small feet that he apparently has lost. They look easy to design and print but I can't make them because I have no access to the console.

Any of you have a file for these or maybe the actual feet that you can measure and send the dimensions to me?

My prints get very good adhesion to the bed, especially when doing prints with large adhesion areas. So good, that after the print is done, I actually have to wet the surface with alcohol and put it in the freezer for it to let go! (edit: I print with PLA)

My question is, if the adhesion could be a bit less violent, if I lower or increase the bed temperature? I have an ender 3 v2 with the original glass bed (it has some black layer on top of the glass).

I know that there are tons of alternative beds that I could buy, but I'd rather keep this bed if I can counter the too strong adhesion

I have been very happy with DuckDuckGo, and it has helped me break free of routines that I did not feel safe with. Especially the small flame icon that would clear all history, cookies and cache from websites that are not "fireproofed" was great!

But today I had to do a quick example on Tinkercad (3D browser design tool) and it was so slow! I thought that my PC maybe was busy doing something (yeah its an older PC but not THAT old), but when I open the same page on my now parked Opera browser, everything went smoothly.

I am ok with using Opera, or any other browser for 3D work, as I don't really do all that much of it, but I just feel gutted to find out that my now favorite browser sucks so bad at something, not to mention the Microsoft Edge processes when that is the last of any browser that I would choose to use

EDIT: I found out that this was due to hardware acceleration was off, on my DuckDuckGo browser. I had turned it off, because the fonts on websites looked blurry when it was on. The solution was to turn off antialising on the Nvidia control panel, and restart the PC. It is now working well!
