Wtf are you talking about? The spec has a section specifically for wiring a USB 2.0 cable. Apple is one of the companies who wrote the USB spec and I’d find it pretty hard to believe they’d go against their own spec.

Same design language and copy cats are different. I can clearly make the difference of a Jetta/Passat or Civic/Accord. They obviously share a similar design but are definitely their own. Tesla’s on the other hand, I couldn’t tell you the difference of the X or Y. They look identical. Even the sedans look damn near identical. And no other car company keeps the exact same design for 10+ years (besides Toyota and the 4Runner)

Besides Musk…it’s the fact they are still using the same design from 10+ years ago. When I see a tesla, I can’t tell the difference between the S & 3 or the X & Y. They made one car and scaled it in their software. All 4 cars are due for a redesign and they don’t need to all look identical. And they need to figure out how to actually assemble them without being shit.

What’s wrong with Raivo?

[–] ScoobyDoo27@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yeah, that’s kind of my point. Why would they keep making them when they have a rep of being bad and no one buys them? People want their trucks and SUV’s

People don’t want domestic economy cars. People who like domestic brands want trucks and SUV’s. People who want economy cars will pretty much only look at Honda/Toyota and both those manufacturers still make economy vehicles.

I have never once seen someone online recommend a ford focus or Chevy cruze to anyone. It’s always a carolla/Camry or civic/accord.

These companies have been doing so good lately with everyone only wanting trucks and SUV’s as there is insane markup on those types of vehicles. The companies can afford to pass along some of those profits to their workers.

I always see people say this but does no one here use professional apps like solidworks or revit? Are there good Linux alternatives? I’d switch to Linux but I need solidworks for work I do.

Except apple doesn’t take away any time you’ve paid for just like your Netflix example. If I were to cancel my apple one sub it would remain active until the 22nd….because that’s what I’ve already prepaid for. Apple does cancel you’re unpaid for free trial immediately because you didn’t pre pay for anything.

I switched over to lemm.ee fully a couple of weeks ago because Lemmy.world was down constantly. I’ve yet to run into issue on lemm.ee

I use adguard and adguard VPN on my phone. I have an adguard home server set up on my home network so I use that when I’m at home instead. I don’t VPN into my network as others have suggested because I have Xfinity and I have limited monthly data.

24 inch wheels? Jesus Christ, get ready to spend half the value of the car on tires every few years.
