I saw a 50 min. documentary by DW about slave labour in China. It seems it's worse than I imagined. They sort of mentioned like two or three other minorities iirc , that were being detained, and ofcourse, everybody who disagrees with the policy of the supreme leader as well.

linked is really short

Yes, really short, did a little check and she's more on the " right of the political spectrum " than Borrel was; If I got her info correctly.

" Russian-based companies make up about half of the 61 entities added to the EU's list Monday. In addition to the 19 Chinese companies, it also added nine from Turkey, two in Kyrgyzstan, one in India, one in Kazakhstan, and one in the United Arab Emirates."

"Ahmed Alid, 45, an asylum seeker from Morocco, stabbed 70-year-old Terence Carney, a complete stranger he encountered on the street, on 15 October.

Minutes earlier, he had broken into the bedroom of his housemate, Christian convert Javed Nouri, and hacked at him while he slept.

Alid shouted “Allahu Akbar” – “God is great” – during the attack at the Home Office-approved asylum seekers’ accommodation, which Nouri survived. Alid then fled into the street, still armed with a knife."

"Official Chinese figures show 12,000 repatriation cases from more than 120 countries as a result of the two main repatriation campaigns. These are often touted by Beijing as a major success. It is not clear exactly how much of this is propaganda and how much is real data. To give a sense of the scale, a few years ago China managed to persuade 230,000 people to return to China in just one year as part of a special campaign in which the threat of collective punishment was also used as a means of persuasion."

So basically Chinese refuges or expats resident have never been safe. Its not something recent .And apperantly the Chinese Gvement isn't respecting the sovereignty of other countries at all. It's a wakeupcall, our territories are "infiltrated and not safe", and now with the upcoming collaboration between Hungary and China, it will only get worse; if we don't change our ways soon.

Unfortunate turn of events, can't see how a second Orban will benefit the people.

It's almost literally a reenactment by the AFD of what happened around the 1930s. It's so fucked up.

But this is 2024 , so people should be more aware, and are protesting massively. Unfortunately, the resurgence of (forms of) fascism is a worldwide trend, and not an isolated phenomena.

Add: many people seem to be calling Fascistist "Nazis" nowadays. That's so confusing to me, as if they don't know that Nazism is a particular form of Fascism. While Fascism in all its varieties and guises should be the true denominator for trouble, and is the enemy of democracy.

We really should tax %% them all: their businesses, the Royal houses; no exceptions, or offshore bla bla. Then we can redistribute their wealth/power more socially.

EU corporate tax rules should only be a beginning.
