It needs to be viable first, which obviously won’t happen when the management keeps stumbling into PR nightmares weekly.

Fuck anti-cheat, the bane of gamers everywhere.

Man, I'm shocked that most people would rather wear a duck costume in sweltering heat than risk taking a bullet or a grenade!

The trackers were specifically there for Google’s ad service, so I assume this’ll get rid of those too.

‘Change for the heck of it’ gives idiot execs trying to justify their jobs a raging hard-on. It also pleases the idiots trying to maximize profits on something that’s already maximized, as if destroying brand equity will draw in ‘new customers through a fresh new look and image!’

No, it’ll only waste money on failed marketing for your rebrand, confuse existing customers, and make your business look more transient and, as a result, less likely to stand the test of time.

You underestimate the average porn addict. People were downloading years of porn they’d ‘saved’ on Reddit while making their escape.

Yeah, but Lemmy’s a newer platform and might not stick around for 6 years, IF it takes off like Reddit did. $100 is a bit too steep, if I’m being honest.

Even Apollo Ultra was $50, and people thought that was expensive…

I’ve seen my fair share of tankies on this platform, it’s a very real problem.

D’you think they’d take this guy back?

[-] Dark_Blade@lemmy.world 60 points 11 months ago

Problem: Brands start leaving Twitter

Solution: Increase the price of Twitter Blue

Yeah, but that means if you stick out too much, you’ll get recorded and posted online for entertainment
