It's alright. Not sure why all the other comments said to ignore you, because you're okay in my book

Nobody on the fence with Kamala was going to change their mind.

Lifelong R voters who were questioning staying R with weird old ass Trump are now in a state of panic.

A U.S. Navy chief who wanted the internet so she and other enlisted officers could scroll social media, check sports scores and watch movies while deployed had an unauthorized Starlink satellite dish installed on a warship and lied to her commanding officer to keep it secret, according to investigators.

Internet access is restricted while a ship is underway to maintain bandwidth for military operations and to protect against cybersecurity threats.

The Navy quietly relieved Grisel Marrero, a command senior chief of the littoral combat ship USS Manchester, in August or September 2023, and released information on parts of the investigation this week.

I grew up with rifles that were locked in the garage. And I was a stupid kid who figured out how to look down the barrel and point them at the neighbors' fence. They were "hidden" in an area where I could mess with them for a few hours without my family knowing.

I was given the whole talk but I never took it seriously until years later when I got on the range and did some actual hunting and cried my ass off killing an animal.

Knowing how stupid I was, I assume the worse with my family.

Today, I keep a pistol in a secure case in the house. But it's in my office near all the other critical things where I can see it/my kids can't access it without lots of barriers. It also means that it's kinda useless for quick access and would take a few minutes to get. I'm okay with that.

All the gun owners I know talk the biggest talk about safety. Then the moment they get to show it off, they wave their guns around like school children and pointing it at random things and fetishizing it.

Mine is locked up and secured. And if I take it out, I'm using it.

Couples therapy in my area would easily cost about $150/hr.

The rest of America should follow Oregon's standards.

When Republicans walked out, Oregon said Bye Felicia.

Oregon high court says 10 GOP state senators who staged long walkout can’t run for reelection.

I like to race by popping a edible, then seeing how much chores I can do before my brain goes into space.

That was what I thought five years ago. I was on the verge of removing it, and the android Facebook app killed my phone's battery, so delete it went.

And suddenly all my family drama stopped and if someone needs to get in touch with me, how surprising that they still found a way.

Remember in the 70s when the cigarette industry said their products were safe?

Remember in the 80s when the candy industry said it was the lack of exercise that was the cause of overweight?

Remember in the 90s when the gun industry pointed the blame to personal responsibility as the cause of school shootings?

Maybe just maybe industries can't self regulate. I can go on.

Oh hello friend! Looks like we found ourselves on the same corner of the interwebs! Your message came loud and clear! Let us make the internet to be a amazing place for everybody. GOD BLESS.

A private school in London is opening the UK's first classroom taught by artificial intelligence instead of human teachers. They say the technology allows for precise, bespoke learning while critics argue AI teaching will lead to a "soulless, bleak future".

The UK's first "teacherless" GCSE class, using artificial intelligence instead of human teachers, is about to start lessons.

David Game College, a private school in London, opens its new teacherless course for 20 GCSE students in September.

The students will learn using a mixture of artificial intelligence platforms on their computers and virtual reality headsets.

The songs that the AI CEO provided to Smith originally had file names full of randomized numbers and letters such as "n_7a2b2d74-1621-4385-895d-b1e4af78d860.mp3," the DOJ noted in its detailed press release.

When uploading them to streaming platforms, including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music, the man would then change the songs' names to words like "Zygotes," "Zygotic," and "Zyme Bedewing," whatever that is.

The artist naming convention also followed a somewhat similar pattern, with names ranging from the normal-sounding "Calvin Mann" to head-scratchers like "Calorie Event," "Calms Scorching," and "Calypso Xored."

To manufacture streams for these fake songs, Smith allegedly used bots that stream the songs billions of times without any real person listening. As with similar schemes, the bots' meaningless streams were ultimately converted to royalty paychecks for the people behind them.

Throughout the 19th century, news reports and medical journal articles almost always use the plant's formal name, cannabis. Numerous accounts say that "marijuana" came into popular usage in the U.S. in the early 20th century because anti-cannabis factions wanted to underscore the drug's "Mexican-ness." It was meant to play off of anti-immigrant sentiments.
