Game doesn't even sound like it needs to be an MMO, which makes me wary. Actually, "Star Citizen-level ambition" is all that I need to run away from it.

I'm afraid I'm not seeing where this "Star Citizen-level ambition" is coming from. It doesn't sound too dissimilar to the aspirations of Sim City (2013). As for why it needs to have any amount of MMO mechanics in the first place is beyond me.

Another Live Service game?? Where do I block it?

I mean it is an MMO, aren't those live service by design?

Had to check if this was a throwback to the 2006 game of the same name but it appears to be unrelated.
