Out of curiosity I went to exploding-heads.com and it looks like it's not working anymore. Is there a new place they hang out now? Are they undercover on the regular servers or something? It'd be a little surprising to me if they all just gave up on being active on the Fediverse.

I'm guessing they left after bring blocked by most instances. After that you may as well just go to another conservative forum.

Yep

They don't want their own instance, they want to troll everyone else.

So when that instance got defederated, they either just got a new domain using the same infrastructure or their users made accounts on less regulated but still federated instances.

I'd be really surprised if any of them only had one account to begin with.

I think there is a strong analogy to be made vis-à-vis spending your energy on regulating other people's sex lives or abortion rights or ability to come into the country or not, versus just living your own life and making it rewarding.

Conservatives hate being alone with each other because, surprise, they’re all shit people who just lie and hate 24/7

My favorite theory is that they realized their similarity to hexbears and tankies and joined that chapter of 'people who can't handle living in a mixed society'.

And somehow both of them push propaganda aligned with the Kremlin...

I've seen a couple active on Lemmy.world lately, but nothing out of the ordinary. They'll be back though, one way or the other. We have to be aware of that.

They migrated elsewhere to another platform months ago. I can’t even remember which one.

It was, approximately, 4chan reincarnated as a Lemmy instance. They were defederated from more or less everyone more or less instantly.
