My best guess is that the son has no name (it's blank where you might expect the name in the last bit of dialog) because his dad deleted his browser history

That's what they're going for. I had scrolled past this when I found it before it hit me.

[–] OpenStars@kbin.social 16 points 8 months ago

Except that the previous (3rd) sentence ends in no punctuation.

[–] UnrepententProcrastinator@lemmy.ca 12 points 8 months ago

Not worth the effort.

My friend doesn't get it. How would you explain it to him?

[–] The_Picard_Maneuver@lemmy.world 35 points 8 months ago (2 children)

Tell your friend that the son is named after his Dad's search history.

What's in his search history? His son is named Porn?

No, his name is empty, just like the search history.

Some jokes are so far-fetched that even if they make you think an arguably funny thought, you can't believe that that's the intended punchline because nobody should seriously expect anyone to get it. This is one of those.

This meme format is so dumb, I love it

[–] BuffLemmyworlder@lemmy.world 10 points 8 months ago (1 children)

The fact that you told us it took you a while, it made me instantly get it

[–] The_Picard_Maneuver@lemmy.world 4 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Haha, I'm glad. Quite a few people in the comments did not.

[–] Jax@sh.itjust.works 3 points 8 months ago
