In addition to "Survival Mode" I've also heard this called "Crisis Management". Not sure if that's what you were looking for.

NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].
5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions.
If you have any questions regarding the site itself or would like to report a community, please direct them to Lemmy.world Support or email info@lemmy.world. For other questions check our partnered communities list, or use the search function.

Perseverance?
When social workers intervene in situations like this the practice is called 'Crisis Intervention' so depsite harsh sounding conotations I believe this meets crisis criteria.

I would call it an ordeal
And here's a mountain goats song that I think captures the feeling really well!

although it doesn't have to be short in terms of time, just temporarily.
also the old timey gird up your loins
Unfortunate the infographic comes with the rubbish "manliness" eg, toxic masculinity, narrative.

No idea how toxic, noble, or whatever the site may be, but I will point out they call themselves "Art of Manliness." So, they probably lean into that pretty hard.
Weeks, and Month.
