Definitely a red flag. Often, there is a huge discrepancy between the loyalty thay is expected from you and the loyalty given to you.
Yeah, it's the kind of rhetoric bad bosses love to use to guilt employees into going above and beyond with nothing concrete in return.
When they call themselves a family what they mean is the Donner party.
In a family you share everything, right?
