Does anybody know what the paw resting on my arm means? She usually doesn't do this.

Has Miez always liked belly scritches? Most sources say cats don't like being pet on their belly, but Miez seems to love it

Oh yeah it's even her preference. When she lays besides me she lays down exactly the way that my hand is on her belly

I think our pets know when we're sick and they try to comfort us like any other loved one would.

As an owner of several cats over my lifetime, I can absolutely endorse this position. Every time I ever was sick, my cat always knew and would come and dote on me.

Currently, my cat is cuddling with me because I’m enduring a back spasm.

I interpret the standing on your arm and the reaching of the paw both to mean she wants you to stay right there for a while so she can have your attention and give you attention.
