We've done Halloween in key west a couple of times. Zombie bike ride is super fun!

Try cooking dinner at home together and see if it happens.

Thank you for sharing! I talked to a friend about 3d printing on Tuesday, saw the cardboard cutter here Wednesday, and then ordered my first printer that afternoon. My Ankermake M5c arrives Tuesday. I'm super excited but i know nothing, so these 'how I got started' posts are very encouraging. I see people talk about Tinkercad. How is it? As someone who is completely new and not a tech person, is that the easiest place to start? Once i get the hang of printing patterns i find online, i want to make scary face parts for a pumpkin (think Mr. Potato Head) and spiral notebook covers with funny sayings. It doesn't matter how bad the pumpkin face parts are - they're just going on my porch for a couple of weeks and meant to look weird. I think the only hard part on the notebook covers will be getting the spiral holes correct and getting 20 made by Christmas for my coworkers. Sorry for rambling - I'm just excited and clueless and found your share encouraging. If i make a post asking people to share pics of their first items/ideas, would that be annoying?

I check administrative and fundraising costs. 90% of my donations are local organizations that directly impact my community, mostly the food bank, animal care and shelters, and school or student groups.

Yeah. I gave Kamala $46.50 the day Biden dropped. It was my first political donation (even though I'm old) and i was pretty excited about it. Now i get at least 4 emails per day. I finally started unsubscribing today. Seriously, I'm voting for you, but you're gonna need to back the fuck off.

Never seen one. Aussiedoodles are pretty popular here.

Not really religious, but my first thought was, "i hope my mom gets to meet her on the other side."

I prefer local shops, but we do occasionally order the black box one at dominos or the Marcos magnifico. Haven't had hut in years.

If you use "they" to describe a nameless group of people and you mean anyone other than The Man (That's how they get you.), you're probably the one who's wrong.

Looking forward to reading some fun exceptions.

I'm not great at determining when something is AI. Is there an app or community for asking if an image is real or AI?

When i was young I thought my mom's colorful decor was ridiculous. Now I'm old and my kids think I'm ridiculous for wanting colorful everything. Is that a thing?

I popped into r/ today to read about furniture and now I'm feeling kinda dirty. Maybe i should donate to lemmy as penance.

Edit to clarify that by 'snuggle' i meant all pets, scritches, belly rube, squeezes, ass pats, questions about who's the goodest, nicknaming, etc.

Sick and feel like I've hit the end of Netflix, Prime, ... Is there a community about what everyone is streaming/recommending?

Is it a 'thank you for prepping my room' or 'please clean my room today'? If you tip post cleaning, it's likely going to someone else the next day. Many hotels now only do housekeeping on demand. How do employees feel about this - do they miss the tips or are they happy for a less stressful workday?

ETA- I'm in the US. Does the rest of the world tip housekeeping? I always have when traveling because I do at home, but I don't know what the norm is.

It was initially used by BP to shift blame to consumers instead of oil companies.
