I see they're looking to kill F-Droid.
It's a good thing nothing malicious comes from the Play Store... we are totally safe...
I hope it is optional. Otherwise it makes sideloading more cumbersome for power users.
If it is a feature of play protect then you should still be able to opt out of it.
Oh well.. interesting to see how this slides further down. Might be the push Linux phones need. I think my current phone will be the last android I will have
