With basketball and baseball covered, I feel like it's gotta be football to round it off.

Remember the Titans is always good. There's Jerry Maguire if you want that sports management angle. Personally I've got a soft spot for The Replacements, and Any Given Sunday has that amazing Al Pacino scene. And then there's Waterboy if you want a big tonal shift.

There's also Rudy or Knute Rockne if you can stomach Notre Dame.

Refrained from suggesting Rudy considering it's mostly just an ego puff piece commissioned by the guy himself. It's a fine enough underdog story "inspired" by real people, but knowing the backstory really diminished that movie in my eyes.

I didn't know that, it does really hype up Notre Dame though which is annoying enough.

In that case I say watch The Express.

Goon is a good choice, maybe Slap Shot. There's also Miracle or Miracle on Ice.

If we're talking hockey movies, I'd throw Mystery, Alaska in for consideration as well.

Remember the Titans.

I've never watched a baseball game in my life but Moneyball is a fantastic movie.

Can't believe no one has said Friday Night Lights. That's a great trio of sports movies right there.
