Most of his fan base are children.
I mean, the dude made obscene amounts of money by getting poor people to debase themselves for a little bit of his horde. I question the judgment of anybody that didn't see it coming.
Not directly related to what he's saying, but PeopleMakeGames just released an episode about the current state of war gaming and it's dual, seemingly conflicting function as fun games for individuals, and as a repopularized tool of actual war for modern governments.
In short - a lot.

You know how their jumble of bones pulls together when you get close? Their bones wanna do that with your bones, and the osteonetic attraction that pulls their bones together let's them know where your bones are, too.
As unfortunate as this is, afaik, polar bears are one of the most aggressive animals around, intent on eating pretty much anything that moves. I don't doubt that it did pose a threat.
No shade intended. I was just seeing some art from the new MtG Doctor Who cards and for whatever reason decided to look up what the Menoptra looked like originally and the disparity really cracked me up.
