There's just this tiny little detail of balls suddenly disappearing.

trade-offer You receive: food, housing, affection, impunity around the house

We receive: right to play with you and cuddle when you're up for it

Idk what "Family Eunuch" means, and there's some fine print that I can't quite make out, but this job posting is too good to pass up

I get most of it but what income does a cat get ?

[–] kureta@lemmy.ml 7 points 5 months ago

I guess it's the income of its owners.

cat currency is measured in hours sleeping in comfort, so I guess they have that from two sources, secure enough to bank on it

food. cos it's being fed by its owners and then it goes visiting the neighbors who also feed it. that's two incomes. though i dunno how passive it is, since the cat still has to meow for it and then actually do the work of chewing and swallowing it.

My brother-in-law was into one of those grifters for a bit, the author of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad." I looked into the author. Turns out the financial advice is either generic or bad, the "rich dad" character probably never existed, and most of the author's money likely came from book sales.
