Ebikes, scooters, longboards: Whatever floats your goat, this is all things micromobility!

"Transportation using lightweight vehicles such as bicycles or scooters, especially electric ones that may be borrowed as part of a self-service rental program in which people rent vehicles for short-term use within a town or city.

micromobility is seen as a potential solution to moving people more efficiently around cities"

It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

There are different types of amish people and they have different attitudes towards modern technology. I remember watching some video where they were building a barn and using battery powered tools but using a gasoline generator to charge the batteries because grid electricity is forbidden.

Bizarre, I wonder how they came up with those rules

Their entire Luddite mindset is intended to keep their members tied to the church.

They can use gas and kerosene to power engines other than ones that allow them to travel at reasonable speeds. They can use any electric device unless it's attached to the grid.

Their entire cult is devoted to maintaining their bishop's creepy control over their members lives.

It's a little more complicated than you might think from what I understand, it's not necessarily against their rules.

I have the same thought for a brief moment, but then I realized that not only do I not have authority to police their decision, but I also don't care anyways.
