Goddamn it, that's the story of my life post smartphones...
Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Eh, before smartphones I did this with books.
"Just one more chapter, then sleep."
...
"Damn, this is the climax, I can't just stop reading now."
...
"Shit, is that the sun?"
Playing civ was the same way. Just one more turn ..
I have done this my whole life. My brain hates to shut off.
* looks at time * Wait why is it 02:30 when I went to bed at 1?
My non-existent friends always praise me for my ability to stay off my phone but it's not like I spend all that free time doing something productive instead. I'm not. I'm on my computer either watching YouTube, Porn or stirring up shit on Lemmy.
I recently set a sleep mode on my phone that restricts me from using my more addictive apps after a certain time. It also turns on do-not-disturb and the eye shield for the night. I can still access apps that are OK for me to use at night but no longer play addictive games or scroll through Lemmy for all hours.
Thanks! This is the post that made me decide to put down my phone for the night. Wish me luck!
Mate, stop hitting so close to home.
Fuck you. I'm going to bed.
Where can I learn this skill?
