My wife’s conservative boomer relatives keep talking about how they want things to be like they were in the 50s. Welp, congrats!
They should be forced to only use basic landline phones, drive really shitty inefficient cars without safety glass or seatbelts and get a black & white analogue tv that’s about 12” max.
With how easy it is to get tested for STDs, and how available condoms are: Nobody should be getting syphilis. Get tested or wrap it up before you fuck. Jesus. 🤦♂️
I knew three people who were both incredibly blasé about STDs. No condoms, just fun fun fun! Two were on prep, the other was not. One of them I'm told would routinely get STDs and need to get treated. When I was like "That's insane. You're going to get something that's resistant. Why don't you just use a condom?" I was told I was worrying too much.
Some people are really fucking stupid. No pun intended. The feedback loop of consequences is too slow for their smooth brains, I guess.
