No word (other than hate speech) is inherently disrespectful. Disrespect comes from context, not vocabulary.
As for being irreverent, that's almost always a positive since being overly reverent is a toxic symptom of authoritarianism.

I agree with you mostly. And censoring swears from media aimed at children, doesn't prevent kids from wanting to experiment with the taboo. But I'd rather have children's media model good behavior, and while swearing isn't always profane or disrespectful, it often is. And being able to differentiate the context is a learned social skill that kids won't master until that kind of content is appropriate.
This last quote really has nothing to do with my argument but I just like it. "Profanity is the linguistic crutch of inarticulate fuckheads". I want to teach my children to articulate themselves well and save the profane for when it makes the most impact.

Well you don’t want kids always swearing left right and center either, I don’t know to how much extent banning videos with f words for kids help but I (no joke) never heard of any (big) swear words by my parents or on my phone, and it does help me in formal situations unlike some of my friends, No one is gonna call you out for dropping a mother F bomb in front of a professor but it’s definitely not ideal.

Fact: words are by definition a form of peaceful expression whether or not they're considered naughty at bible study. Some, including myself, would consider hate speech an exception to this rule, but swearing isn't hate speech.
Fact: terrorism is by definition a hostile and violent action and as such comparing the two even hypothetically is disingenuous at best.

Kids should be taught the difference between swearing and disrespectful swearing. My parents brought me up to never swear, even though I eventually learned the words and not to swear around them. It's inevitable that kids will learn swear words but if you completely ignore the problem as a parent, that's how rampant and disrespectful swearing starts.
I didn't swear when I was young but I was certainly exposed to it. And believe it or not I can code switch seemlessly at work. People who know me personally would be so surprised to hear it.
