I'm looking for a midrange android tablet, exclusively for taking notes with a stylus in Obsidian. It doesn't need to be powerful, but just take good notes. The ideal size is anything 11'' and under. I would also appreciate if it isn't too bloated, and behaves similar to stock android. I have looked mostly into the Pixel Tablet as well as the Lenovo M11, P11 and K11. Other suggestions are welcome.

I haven't had an android tablet in ages, but I miss mine! I'd say check out what Samsung is selling, they are the only company that seems to be putting out good tablets in the last 5 years.

I'm not sure why Android tablets have struggled so much compared to the iPad, but I wish we had more competition.

I refuse to buy a Samsung phone or tablet because they're usually overpriced and bloated as hell. But you're right that they're one of the few OEMs actually bothering with Android tablets.

All I want is an Android tablet with good performance that's supported by LineageOS for a few years.

My previous tablet was a POS from Lenovo. Garbage from day one, but it was supported by Lineage for a few years and let me consume media, which was what I wanted it for. Now I'm on the lookout for something else.

There's a ton of junk - Bixby, the Samsung cloud apps, I have one I have to keep stock for work and another i have Lineage on and the difference is very noticeable, battery drain for one

Been a while since I've looked honestly. But the fact that they're either hard or impossible to flash with custom ROMs (on top of being expensive) in my experience just means I'll never bother with them.

Hopefully someone else can chime in with more recent experience than me.
