People have made jokes about hitler in the past. Why would this be connected with a nazi salute by a popular person and not just continuing the joke?
There are already enough reasons to hate her
her tweet was made a day after musk's salute and consequent "funny" nazi puns - alongside posts denying the salute as sincere, therefore enabling nazi normalization
the issue isn't if JK is a swastika waving nazi - she most likely isn't - the issue is she's siding with fascists because they share the same hateful rhetoric and is willing to defend and normalize their behavior because she sees them as allies and the "woke leftists" as the enemy.
Im dont know how twitter works and couldnt find the multiple times she denied that the salute was sincere, but the first one looked like a joke(because of the text)

Edit: i missed the obvious text in the "multiple times" link. This still looks like a coincidence since there isnt anything in the post that would make someone believe it was supporting hitler other than the name and the date
denied was implied by comparing musk's salute to that of the pope waving his arm - but fair, she didn't outright say it
still the timing is most definitely not coincidental - but I can see how that can seem that way if you didn't browse xitter when it happened

I’m pretty confident JK Rowling never met with a man who killed himself before she was born, but in this fucked up timeline who even knows.
Somehow I half expect to find out space X through some crazy means accidentally stumbled into time and interdimensional travel. He will bring in another dimensions hitler, argue it's a good guy...
