I’ve been obsessing over Hiræth lately, probably one of the best albums I have ever heard. It’s not a metal album, but it scratches that itch I have for metal, so it’s going on this list lol

All are in my heavy rotation right now, I like weird envelope pushing metal.
Igorrrr are solid, definitely doing some different shit. Dunno the others.

Not especially brutal, but a couple of the bands I've been listening to lately are Sabaton and The HU.
Metal bands can scream and growl as much as they want, they will never hit as hard as the last minute of "I love you, I'm going to blow up your school" by MOGWAI, or pretty much anything by SWANS.
