Early Jean-Claude Van Damme Cyborg, Ultimate Soldier, Kickboxer, Lionheart, but mostly Bloodsport.
First time I played Myst in 93, that was mind blowing. I didn’t see that level of graphics for a long time after that.
Also a friend let me play Half-life Alyx when it first released and it seemed to be a monumental shift in what gaming would become….. it wasn’t or hasn’t yet, but it blew my mind at the time.
Wouldn’t it be a catch phrase?
City of God, (Portuguese/Brazil) One of my all time favorite movies period. Gangster/Crime lord style movie about kids running the Favelas in Rio
Elite Squad 1 and 2 also (Portuguese/Brazilian) Top notch Cop/shoot out movie really reinvigorated the Sicario and John Wick style films.
Oldboy (Korean) The WTF twist is an early stand out of what the amazing Korean producers are now famously known for.
The tentative agreements
Although not very impactful yet, it think aerographene has the potential to be massive.
Gods are literally just a psychological comfort blanket to explain the unexplainable. Most religious people don’t put that much thought into what they believe, challenging concepts are just tucked nicely away in the “Gods will” box and they move on. I think everyone copes with those brain shattering concepts in their own creative way or risk getting buried alive in anxiety.

Drakan series needs reboot. I played Drakan; Ancient gates. That game was so much fun. The seamless transition from fighting on a dragon to fighting on your feet. The next level spell casting where you had to trace out the symbol to cast. The lore felt really deep like there was a lot of secrets they never fleshed out and ever since I’ve had an itch that never got scratched.
This game is brutal but man do I love it. There are so many RNG factors that can make or break your run. But when you go God mode boy is it satisfying. Dunkorslam YouTube videos are your best friend to learn how to get your first win.
