I was upset because I bought my Oculus headset before Facebook acquired it and then forced me to have a log in of theirs.

I decided not to have a Facebook account for a reason. Mainly because I don't trust the company with my data. As enticing it is to have a VR headset and I would love to for their price ... ... I just don't want to give Meta any more of my cash.

What's happening in VR now is that Meta is licensing their Horizon OS so maybe other manufacturers can make their own headsets with Meta's OS on top. That introduces another problem because I don't trust that their OS isn't spying on me either ....

I would bet good money that their OS is spying you and me and everyone.
