It's getting to the point that I have the same degree of sympathy for deepfake AI-gen scam victims as I have for people who fall for scam emails. This has been talked about enough that you should be aware by now. Unless you have dementia, I feel bad that you got taken, but I also blame you for being sloppy. Same as if you had a weak password. You don't deserve to be robbed, but you didn't protect yourself either.
Not everyone is as online as you are.
That's harsh.
You can't defend against something you a) believe not to be a scam. b) don't know what you're supposed to be defending against.
