But to be honest if the story gets good after 2 or 3 seasons the amount of people watching will still be smaller than the first season. I've been so turned off by the WoT series on Amazon, when people said the season 2 is better than season 1 I still didn't have the energy to watch it.

It's by far better than S1. Watch it so we can get more seasons.
