You can back it up on Steam. You can download your entire library to a backup haddrive and run Steamless, effectively the exact same process as you just described for itch.io.

All you need is over under wrap and that doesn't happen, at all.

Thank you consequence dot net for telling us that David Lynch can no longer direct in person due to emphysema.

Holy shit, that's dark lmao.

Sometimes it's just not worth it. It's nice to be able to workshop your thoughts, and then you've work shopped it so much that it's just not worth posting - the user you're responding to probably won't care or will antagonize, sometimes your thoughts change as you're typing them, sometimes it just doesn't make sense and there's no point in re-writing something that ultimately contributes very little to anything except your own self-expression.

Gameplay wise it's very similar, and it's not like adding fake "players" is unheard of in games, like .//Hack or Goat Simulator.

You don't need to act like it's leaps and bounds away

Lost Planet, there's plenty of examples of this working??

There's an episode of Catfish that has this. A lady is setting people up to eat at her restaurant lmao

There's also the whole interaction in how the CEO treated someone who wrote an article and he wouldn't leave her alone after asking him to stop.

From his perspective I get it, you want to have good press and try to clear up any misconceptions. But how he went about it was very unprofessional and far too pushy.

I personally prefer pistol whip to beat saber, but I understand the appeal for it.

You talking about a more extreme version of something like AdNauseam?

For clarification, remove the drivers as in make the G2 not need them?

Also do you happen to have a link? It's not that I don't believe you, I have a G2 and would like to read the details myself, I was looking into details about this after the announcement but didn't find much.

Basically, I'm hoping that the G2 can become a full SteamVR device. It's a good headset but openXR and more specifically WMR have just absolutely butchered it's reliability. When I first got it I used it at a MixedVR setup with the index Knuckles - works great for the SteamVR runtime. OpenXR doesn't like SteamVR devices, so the knuckles can't be used. No big, stay in SteamVR.

Then WMR pushed the OpenXR runtime as standard - no big deal really and overall a good thing (sans XKCD standards) and since then it's been a pain. Only for Microsoft to kill it 2 years later lol.

I switched back to my index for the downstairs VR space, but it would be nice to be able to use the G2 for a full lifespan.
