Oh come on. Mr negativity over here. FFS Valve has been a godsend compared to the likes of EA or Blizzard. I bet you complain when you get ice cream that it's too cold

You could get keychron keyboard or something similar that supports open source key mapping/lighting (or just leave it as is when you get it)

This sounds horrible. I already have a tab issue

Click a link and need to go back 10x to get back. Yes, I enjoy the footballs.

It probably seems impossible but exercise is amazing to boost energy. I started going to the gym and I have more energy than ever. It's intimidating to start but after you break through the first barrier of getting there it's easy. There's tons of work out regiments online but if you want more info on how I got started and what I did I'm more than happy to share. Also, eat healthy and drink water. (I can't believe I've become one of these "exercise and eat your greens" people)

I second this (beyond an up vote). It's a hard thing to start but it does wonders for self esteem and confidence.

I think they might be referring to the Kennedy conspiracy?

I've used ion for years for web hosting with no issue. Not sure how it would compare

Just talk with them like normal humans and pretend that you are a giant 5 year old.

It was a pw that was from a breach. Like most people I used to use the same pw for everything. Now I use bitwarden and love it

I once received an email with one of my passwords in it. It's spooky when they get your info and reach out!

Gotta give us a budget and tell us what you do on your computer. I've been eyeing the Asus px13 but that's only because of my specific needs

Coming over from windows again. I've got pretty much everything figured out. I even got a VM going with my CAD software so I don't need to switch between Windows! I was super proud of myself on that one. The last thing I'm having trouble with....

I use pdfxchange for my PDF editor. It works great in wine but they don't have a specific Linux release. (If there is a good PDF editor that is Linux native let me know, I need good Mark up and dimensioning tools that can scale off of the drawings). I'm trying to set it to open PDFs by default but can't figure it out. Does someone have a good (easy) way to do it?

Anyone have suggestions for a 10 year old who likes comic mischief? He's a huge fan of diary of a wimpy kid series but his reading level has moved beyond that. He's also really enjoyed the wild robot series, Matilda, and the skunk and fox books.

Thanks in advance!

Edit: thank you all for your great recommendations. I'm going to check them all out with him tonight!
