Just for funzies, my Spotify family plan in Canada is $17.84 CAD, which works out to $13.05 USD at current exchange rate.

Usually Canadians are screwed harder on, well pretty much everything, so I'm surprised that Americans are paying more for this. Guess it's "what the market will bear" or similar nonsense. Please discuss.

It's been around a year since a lot of us quit Reddit, myself included. I'm happy with Lemmy, but I still feel a bit lost online since leaving the old site. Discussion? in c/reddit@lemmy.world

Not true on Windows 11 home that ships with new hardware. You need to disable all network connections and run some terminal commands to set up a local account. It is not convenient at all. Granted you can easily add a local account, after you have set it up with a Microsoft account, but that sort of defeats the purpose.
