Those don't look enough like real money to be illegal. These do.

I haven't seen it but I'm sure it's about as reverent as every other show out there. Frankly, who cares?

[-] soviettaters@lemmy.world 11 points 11 months ago

What I mean is that privacy is no longer mainstream. The software shown does work but the majority of people don't use it or don't even know what it is.

[-] soviettaters@lemmy.world 27 points 11 months ago

Not really. People who use the apps are trying to preserve (conserve) the time when privacy wasn't an afterthought. It's not working, but they're sure trying.

It's shower thoughts, a place to post random things you realize throughout the day.

You're saying it's conservative for being anti-China? China may say it's Communist but any leftist is against the CCP.

I use a Garmin vivomove Sport! It has a physical analog watch with a screen underneath the watch face. It tracks my steps and activities I engage in as well as shows me notifications from my phone. It has quite a lot of other options such as stress and sleep tracking as well but those are purely optional.

Yeah I gotta disagree with you on that. Reddit is more representative simply due to the fact that it's larger. Once Lemmy grows it'll become more diverse and therefore more representative of the general population.

I can't really think of a reason for that as Reddit is hated somewhat equally by "both" sides of the spectrum. It's just something I find interesting.

I was joking, they aren't cheap, they're average priced for a subpar car. The Ford Maverick is $25,000, a whopping $10,000 cheaper than the Model 3.

Edit: I'm stupid, I thought the Ford Maverick was the EV model. It's in fact the Ford Lightning, which starts at $50,000. Teslas are in fact cheap.

Clearly, you aren't a super white American. My family tree got filled up easily up until the 1600s because I have a bunch of family members with nothing better to do than catalog our family tree. Apparently one half of my family came from Scotland in the 16th century so I can claim that I'm Scottish-American now.

[-] soviettaters@lemmy.world 13 points 11 months ago

That's why Teslas are so cheap...right?

I just use chrome when it doesn't work since it's such a rare occurrence. There is no reason for me to use chrome on a daily basis.
