Damn, why gatekeep?

I tried Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes again today, after years of not playing it. Had a lot of fun, and even beat a bunch of previously best times!

I also tried Balatro for the first time today. Really cool music and aesthetics, but not for me. I could see someone who likes Poker, getting super into it though.

Been playing a lot of Dice & Fold though, which I initially thought that I wouldn't care for, but which has really turned into an obsession. That and Storyteller have been so much fun to play!

Next up, I want to give PowerWash Simulator a try, as I hear a lot of good things about it.

I think what the person on Twitter wrote is in response to Rowling going off on a rant about cisgender female boxer, Imane Khelif (from Algeria), in the Olympics, and insisting that she's a man. Rowling's tweet here. There's an article here that outlines the response from the Olympics, and the other female boxer, Italian boxer Angela Carini, who lost to Imane Khelif.

Carini, however, said to reporters after the match: “I wish her to carry on until the end and that she can be happy … I am not here to judge or pass judgment. If an athlete is this way, and in that sense it’s not right or it is right, it’s not up to me to decide.”

And as that article also notes:

It’s also worth noting that it is illegal to be transgender in Algeria – so to peddle the information that the country would send a trans athlete to compete in the Olympics would frankly be laughable if it wasn’t so maddening.

Edit: Forgot to link to the article.

Oh, that actually looks really cool! Seems perfect for those times when you don't want to start up a whole Excel / Google Sheet. That actually seems perfect for what OP is asking for, provided they don't mind that it isn't offline. At least it doesn't require making an account! Pretty cool that you can share pages too.

Adding on to this to specifically recommend the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 soundtrack. Oscar Araujo did masterful work on this, so much so that I even went out and bought the album, even though it was almost impossible to get my hands on it. But you can listen to it on YouTube.

Wow, I appreciate you following up! I can just imagine how much you had to get through. Cheers!

You're an absolute champ! Wishing you all the best with this project going forward, and I look forward to using it more :)

What a super cool idea, and I love the implementation! I do however keep accidentally downvoting, when I want to upvote, and vice versa, since all other sites that I've ever used, display the upvote first, and the downvote second. Any chance of a toggle for that in settings?

A must-have feature for me is the ability to collapse comments on posts. Right now it seems like we can only collapse replies to comments, or put differently, we can only collapse child-comments. Any chance you could make it possible to collapse parent comments too?

As an extra PS to anyone reading this, this is also possible on Chromium browsers, should you use that instead.

Edit: Just for those notorious for not reading the article ;)

I would be very excited to explore the in-game locations. Hopefully feel really immersed in the universe! And as /u/AlolanYoda@mander.xyz mentioned, I hope it will be possible to solve conflicts through diplomacy. That has always been Star Trek's biggest draw for me, that it isn't just about combat and fighting.

The Clipboard History is indeed a part of Windows 10. But I was wondering how PowerToys enhanced the functionality of it.

[–] riot@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago (3 children)

I took a look through my power toys settings, but couldn't find anything there that had to do with the win+v clipboard history. Google hasn't been any help either. What is it that I'm overlooking? How does powertoys improve the clipboard history feature?
