I think choosing camera equipment is an artistic decision that should not just be picking what's state of the art at the time.

The equipment that a movie is shot on is going to have an impact on the final product, no matter what. Most artists get this, but they don't take proper advantage of it.

I think recording a movie with vintage equipment, or mimicking their output, can have a psychological impact on the audience that elevates it to the level of great films of the past.

Does anyone know any examples of this being used?

I'm not sure what's happening, but if I take your word at face value then fuck those cops in particular.

More censorship.

We need better communities.

Tired of you people trying to foster an echo chamber.

I agree, but poor people keep targeting each other instead of their rulers.

If cops were more like the Pinkertons, then I would share your hatred of them.

Yep.

Everyone who is focusing on left vs. right at the expense of up vs. down is part of the problem.

It's a shame they keep being rewarded for it in their social circles.

Our rulers and their offspring would rather kill themselves than live like the rest of us.

That should put things into perspective if you're not a useful idiot.

I don't have an issue with the police.

Most crime is committed by poor people on poor people.

Until that changes, we need cops.

I hate gangbangers 1000x more than any cop.

The system is constructed to leverage us against ourselves.

Yep, that's why the only winning move is not to play.

We need to value different ways of life. Start learning from the natives.

The guillotines are coming.

He looks pretty old.

It's possible he'll die before ever facing justice.

That means it will need to be meted out to his offpsring, who continue to benefit from his exploitation.

They were bought by IBM a few years back, but even aside from that they’re a corporation and they care about making money above all else.

It looks like Red Hat is doing its damnedest to consolidate as much power for themselves within the Linux ecosystem.

I don’t think the incessant Fedora shilling is unrelated.

It seems like there isn’t much criticism of the company or their tactics, and I’m curious if any of you think that should change.
