hamas brought this over their own people

This started in 1917. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balfour_Declaration

Then there was Nakba in 1948. Literally catastrophe. https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/nakba-palestine-catastrophe-explained

Hamas was founded in 1988 and revised their charter in 2017. https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/hamas-2017-document-full

nazis in Germany for example did the same

Comparing a resistance movement against a colonizing occupier to the actions that two industrialized nations took against each other during wartime is not really the best way to frame this. If we look at the colonial expansion of the United States against the Native tribes and collectives that were already here, that had established their own system of governing based on mutual collaboration, it gives us a better perspective and context.

idk what the employees had with the owner but if they were wage workers, not subcontracted, then there would be some legal expectation to pay them and they would have recourse if they didn't get paid. if you leave then you can't claim that they didn't pay you for work. in new york city if an employer schedules you for the day and sends you home early, most of the time they are expected to pay you for the time simply because you were scheduled for the day.

Not everyone can just snub their boss and say no this is not up to my standards. Not when you need to secure a paycheck so you can make at least part of your rent

Yemeni Houthi rebels are believed to have damaged undersea data cables in the Red Sea that link Europe to Asia. The Iran-backed Houthis had already threatened to target the fiber optic cables, which carry an estimated 17% of the world's internet traffic, and it now appears that the group has carried out attacks.

Damn, pullin out all the stops now.

The insider said that Automattic plans to provide full opt-out rights to users interested in protecting their public data, including posts and pictures. However, internal posts indicate that Tumblr has already provided Midjourney and OpenAI an "initial data dump" of all publicly posted content between 2014 and 2023. Furthermore, a "mistake" caused Automattic to share private data of Tumblr users with the two AI companies as well.

Fantastic!
