ive heard good things but i havent checked it out! know if its reasonably playable by one's lonesome? i work shift work which makes coordinating game time with friends pretty hard.

ill usually add 7-10 and maybe have another completed anime on the go for days i want to watch but there are no new episodes. looking at my list, i had 7 that i stuck with for summer, 10 in the spring. my estimation was pretty damn accurate 😂

can't go wrong with the 3 episode test!

this being said, we've been eating well this year. so much great anime. been clicking with more than usual. because of a few shining examples of genres that didn't grip me before my tastes have broadened over the last few years. thankful for that because theres so much good sports, mecha, rom-com, and horror anime out there.

watching ep 2 of my boss is goofy rn, big rec if you want something to make you laugh, smile and tear up a bit. super wholesome.

BL undertones for sure but can be interpreted as a bromance. people who've read ahead say it's not BL but i know undertones when i smell em

cough cough birdie wing

i agree. he at least acknowledges some of the good ones but i find it hard to keep up on when new seasons come out for shows i really like (unless they're super popular)

I'm sure there's somewhere to find out, MAL probably has a returning feature. my anime site does but its not the most comprehensive

let me know your standouts! been watching the new sxf, eminence, dmdp, and freiren

cant recommend freiren enough, HUGE mushishi vibes

im sure we'll all come out the other end of this video with even more reasons to be hype on the best season (fall, duh)

i kept breaking glass protectors on my 6 and got annoyed so i stopped using a protector. got teeensy scratches on it now but i drop it all the time (on tile) and work a rough job. got an OB on it which goes above the edge of the screen so im sure that helps a bit, but ive never had a phone this durable. 8 is enticing but ill wait til i hit my 2 years and see how reviews are that far in.

I've had it for a bit more than a year and a half now, stopped using protectors maybe 3 months in

Giant Bomb - great coverage, funny, not problematic. wide range of content, amazing chemistry, two awesome podcasts plus game mess mornings

Jeff Grubb - he brought me over to GB. the man. watch him and GB cover SGF and you'll get it. man is talented and so charismatic. hes also got a couple more pods on his personal channel with known menace Mitch Minotti

∆honestly cant sing praise for these two enough

Noclip - AMAZING docs, great pod with passionate hosts.

Minnmax - just turned onto them recently after GB had some of them on the couch at SGF. good takes, nice people.

used to be really into spawncast and it's member's channels. not as much recently. spawnwave is still great but some of the group is overly negative which can be very grating over time. they do have good chemistry, still catch the pod sometimes. - that being said, spawnwave's 20 min morning news digests aren't a bad watch while you're waking up and getting caffenated in the morning

Nate the Hate & MVG - part of the spawncast but they also do their own pod. Mature discussion of news and industry topics. MVG has a long history in the modding scene and is an active dev. Nate is some sort of insider, he protects his identity but i would imagine he's in the industry. despite the name, he's not overly negative.

~~there are def a few more but these are the ones that came to mind immediately. might add more as they come to me ~similar kinda thing but about content more geared towards entertainment i.e. dunkey, thorhighheels might be fun to do in the future

with news of animedao going down and (to my dismay) 9anime having issues rn (hope it stays) where can a weeb turn?

tried giving crunchroll money but i had error after error trying to sub last time. plus the ui is shit. i need my anime. if i have to go uber pirate and figure out how to automate new episode downloads i will but my life is hectic and i wanna make shit as ez as possible. thanku thanku <3

Mother's Basement recs never lead me astray. all newly starting series!

usually end up loving at least 70% of his recs. spring was an exception where nearly everything hit. plus he funny.

makes parsing new releases much more palatable!
