This picture triggered the same Calvin and Hobbes memory for me

I hope the OP will come back to explain the circumstances of this picture (e.g food based colouring, dog knocked over dyes).

Lovebirds are really fun. In general parrots are very intelligent, but the large ones usually do less of this funny stuff.

Please consider cross-posting to the Parrots community to help keep it alive!

Got Sunkenland this sale and been playing it over the weekend. Base building survival type game, still early access but pretty fun with friends

How do you find the overall quality of the game? I thought it was cute and in general feels a little easier than Mario Bros Deluxe.

Then again I'm only at the initial stages, keep getting sidetracked by other stuff.

I got this too and honestly have to say it's not my type of game. Feels a little repetitive with no goal besides salvaging enough scrap to meet the next quota.

Maybe I'm missing out on some hidden features, but the group plays a bigger role in enjoyment than the game for me.

A lot of people have mentioned It takes Two, which really is great and you get to try many different mechanics.

You can also check out Fling or Keywe on steam. Only 2 players max (as compared to 4 players on Overcooked or Plate Up), but less complicated controls. Bread & Fred is another I've been meaning to check out too.

Unrailed has simple controls but more objectives to accomplish, and Out Of Space is similar to Overcooked but not in a cooking setting.

Edit: Didn't realise I used a shortened name. Fling refers to 'Fling to the Finish'

I have to say that this highly depends on the type of games you like, and if the unlocks are well designed into the story.

In general most of the types mentioned are cashgrabs, but I enjoyed an indie game called Evoland. You can 'unlock' better graphics and audio as part of the game, watching the evolution of gaming

Try spacing out your posts a day apart, and if other people post then skip your post for the day. Keep the community visible without spamming and hopefully people will join after a while.

This is what I did in the earlier days of !birding, and I rarely even post now since there are more contributors. (partly because I'm also running out of photos to share)

There's a CalvinAndHobbes community on kbin.social where the mod posts daily strips. You could try asking him for his source, or cross-post his stuff.
