At least they were used incorrectly to be just as unpredictable.

I grew up on the lower end of middle class. Govnment cheese grilled cheese sammies is definitely something I loved eating as a kid. This forced us to be industrious. My parents gardening, did their own DIY home improvements, woodworking, hunting, and more. They weren't survivalists because of some doomsday shit, but lived this way because we couldn't afford not to if we wanted to live in a house in a big city suburb in the late 80s & 90s. Over time, my mother took on work utilizing the skills she gained doing the stuff for ourselves and we slowly climbed out of the near poverty life and I was able to have nice things in my teens.

I'm now doing well for myself, solidly middle class in this economy and region. But as things are shifting like crazy around us, I just decided to turn my yard into a garden so I can at least feed myself fresh food if shit becomes unavailable or unsafe to eat. If I have to start hunting again, I will.

I'm not panicking, I'm just going to control what I can, and will do my best to have a good life, and will fight for everybody else to have a chance at a good life too.

As a former permastuff allergy sufferer, I can't recommend enough trying out triamcinolone (nasacort). I had tried nasal sprays in the 90s and early 2000s without any luck. About 5 or so years ago, my allergist recommend I give it a try again as a lot of formulas have come around since then and could work for me now. I couldn't believe it, no more permastuffed and there's smells everywhere. Learned that I love the smell of star jasmine flowers.

For me, a puff in each nostril in the morning and another puff as needed when blowing my nose doesn't suffice (which is rare) has turned this perma-stuffed allergy sufferer into a not-perma-stuffed person.

Nah, just your typical PhD paleontologist dinosaur nerd. The times they showed that side of Ross was probabaly some of the most realistic moments in the show.

Note: It's Ukraine, not "the Ukraine".

Calling it "the Ukraine" is Russian propaganda.

I've noticed that some of the best enuciators are people that have a lisp and have obviously either taken speech classes or have self taught themselves how to overcome their lisp with better enuciation.

If enough humidity over time gets in there, the salt can start caking and forming larger crystal clumps. However, the salt itself isn't damaged by that process and will work fine if broken back up and used in the quality you need.

A best by date here would be a notice from the manufacturer that the product should be shelf stable at least that long before "degrading".

Who's the one bullying and gatekeeping here?

I'm not a camera nerd either, but I recognize that there's people that need professional hardware either for a professional use or an obsessive hobby (either photog or other electronics or optics work). If a cell phone is "good enough" for me, that doesn't mean it's good for a specialist. Just like pretty much everything else in life.

The only reason I have a frednica is because that's where I chill and hang out with the Fediverse Chick.

This could be a non-profit funded by participants and government grants.

WebP is an extended container around the RIFF file format, and contains the RIFF header info. So any container that is built off RIFF, or supports RIFF, can at least interpret the container data that is RIFF compatible and will lose anything that has been extended upon.
