sadly that won't stop people from voting for them

Oh they absolutely could and would but they know "solving" it would expose them for the fascists they are (case in point there have been several "isolated cases" of AfD politicians behind closed doors literally demanding migrants be shot at the borders)

I feel your pain, pretty much the same here except the heat is at least dry

Absolutely, the only thing that will ever move the needle significantly is if the average user walks into a store and comes out with a system that has linux already installed.

I hate summer, I dislike shorts and t-shirts being too much clothing for the scorching heat. I also don't like seeing our dried up husk of a garden despite best attempts to water the damn thing.

I feel like much how OP seems to experience extremely hot summers you get extremely mild ones

It was the same with Pirates, if you get a bad Rep with your extortion business you're just making your own life harder down the line

Yeah I don't know why you keep going on about people using AI when my point was entirely that most of the companies offering AI services don't have a sustainable business model. Being able to do that work locally if anything strengthens my point.

It's quite funny that you think ChatGPT is making a profit on that 20$ subscription if you replace a software dev with it.

The bust won't be because it's not profitable to use AI but because the companies selling the service cannot do so at rates which are both profitable and actually marketable. Case in point: OpenAI has not made a single cent of profit so far (or at least not reported a profit). The way AI is currently shoved in everywhere is not sustainable because the cost of running an AI model cannot be recuperated by most of these new platforms.

I would like to think you're right but this very sudden shift of pace has me slightly concerned. Granted as long as it doesn't feel rushed I wouldn't mind this ending, if anything it was starting to feel extremely dragged out.

My Point is more that their revenue stream will temporarily take a giant hit during that, when everyone is busy going bankrupt the few AI companies that make a profit with it have better things to do than buy new Accelerators right that instant.

Why is it still this week? I need the next episode asap....

I'm surprised but not really by darkness' father being rather chill for a noble. I do have to wonder wtf is up with that debt now though and how the crew will inevitably clear it (maybe big bro Kazuma can get something done via his newly acquired little sister)
